Please Note:

  • Upgrade in Account Variant is only permitted within the same Account Type i.e. a Savings account variant can be changed to another Savings account variant, but not to a Current account variant.
  • The Account Variant will be changed to the new Variant selected subject to availability of new Variant at the Branch where account is held.
  • In case of change in account variant, you would be eligible for all facilities available with the new account variant. Facilities with the old account variant may be discontinued, if not available with the new account variant.
  • In case of ActivMoney (sweep) facility in the account, the threshold limits for sweep-in and sweep-out will be modified as per the threshold limits of the new account variant. You may get in touch with your RM or call our Customer Contact Centre 1860 266 2666 to inquire about the threshold limits for the account variant opted by you.
